53 years of Merdeka and counting ...

Education cannot be diverged from morality..after 53 years of Merdeka, the urgency of values is at the state of our mind and thinking..53 years are such a long time to mould the norm and characters but what happened today is absurdly pathetic..I love u Malaysia but something somewhere need to be changed pronto..

20th Day of Ramadhan

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Merciful..


"Whoever spends this night praying and worshipping Allaah (subhaanahu wa ta’aala) with pure intentions shall have all of his sins forgiven, yet whoever wastes and neglects it shall be truly deprived and shall only have himself to blame " (source)

So for the Iftar, this is what i baked n cooked as simple as it goes :) (tiba2 tunjuk gambar food mcm x rhymes dgn title entry ni hehehe)

(sempat buat cake lagi tu, i prepared the ingredients at 5.30 p.m, tunggu nak bakar lagi, then buat topping..fuuhhh semangat..lucky boleh ready before iftar )

Sadly to say, we have reached towards the end of Ramadhan. This is an opportunity to multiply the good deeds and effort to worship Allah. InsyaAllah we will meet the one blessed night. Night of Decree or LailatulQadr.

Ole-Ole from Harrods :)

My time is fully occupied this Ramadhan. Can't get ample time to write or think what to write.Typical me ;).

My cousins who spending their holiday in Malaysia, brought these ole-ole for me. From London to be exact. But in Malaysia, we still can get Harrods souvenirs at KLCC. Been there and MasyaAllah..the price is so ridiculous. If sesekali i'm craving for the white choc & macadamia or choc coated chunk biccies, i'll just crash my wallet..errr my husband's wallet hehe.

I think Harrods, do have an influence over product packaging. Hence, the food seems palatable to me..most of them :)

I know exactly where to put all these stuffs. InsyaAllah will be moving to the new house soon..Can't wait to embelish my living room with these tiny ornaments :).

17 Ramadhan

Dari Aisyah r.a telah bersabda Rasulullah s.a.w:' Sesungguhnya tiap-tiap sesuatu itu mempunyai kemegahan yang mana manusia berbangga dengannya dan yang menjadi kemegahan umatku ialah al-Quran yang mulia." Kita dikehendaki membaca ,mendalami dan menghayati isi kandungan al-Quran kerana ia diturunkan bukan untuk dijadikan perhiasan sahaja. Membaca al-Quran dikira sebagai berzikir dan zikir al-Quran lebih afdal dan utama daripada zikir-zikir yan lain. Oleh itu membaca al-Quran adalah sebagai ibadat tetapi tidaklah melebihi daripada ibadat-ibadat yang wajib.



RAsulullah s.a.w telah bersabda bermaksud : " Semulia-mulia ibadat umatku ialah membaca Quranul Karim (ibadat yang bukan wajib)bahawa sebaik-baik amalan umatku ialah membaca al-Quran

Al-Quran juga merupakan satu hidangan dari Allah. Sabda Rasulullah lagi bermaksud " Sesungguhnya al-Quran ini ialah hidangan Allah S.W.T, maka hendaklah kamu terima hidangan ALlah sebanyak mana yang kamu boleh"

Al-Quran juga merupakan senjata yang paling berkesan untuk membersihkan jiwa dan menyinarnya. Dalam sebuah hadis Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda bermaksud : Daripada Ibnu Umar r.a berkata " Rasulullah s.a.w telah bersabda, hati manusia akan berkarat seperti besi yang dikaratkan oleh air. Apakah cara untuk menjadikan hati bersinar semula. Katanya dengan banyak mengingati mati dan membaca al-Quran.

Pahala membaca al-Quran

Dari Ibn Mas'ud r.a telah berkata bahawa Rasulullah s.a.w telah bersabda: " Barangsiapa membaca satu huruf daripada Kitabullah maka baginya satu kebajikan dan tidap-tiap kebajikan sepuluh kali gandanya. Aku tidak mengatakan 'Alif Lam Mim ' satu hurf tetapi Alif satu huruf, Lam satu huruf dan Mim satu huruf"

Dari Abi Hurairah r.a berkata bahawa Rasulullah bersabda " Sesiapa yang membaca al-Quran sepuluh ayat dalam satu malam, tidak dimasukkan ke dalam golongan yang lalai"

Kesimpulan

1. Pahala membaca al-Quran, 1 huruf al-Quran dengan berwuduk (diluar solat) = 1 kebajikan =10 pahala

2. Pahala membaca al-Quran, 1 huruf al-Quran (dalam solat) = 100 kebajikan = 100 x 10 = 1000 pahala

3. Pahala membaca al-Quran, 1 huruf al-Quran (ketika berpuasa) = Cuba kira sendiri ...

Alhamdulillah

Mischievously left my thumbdrive at my Uni lab, noted that all my works n final draft of dissertation are in there. I got no back up at all, that's my flaw I must say and just realised when I safely reached home in Melaka..making few calls n texts zeleously..Alhamdulillah the device still intact at the pc..someone is taking care of it right now...(in a second, Allah uji my patience level and now Alhamdulillah ..praise tu Him ).

Ramadhan Mubarak

Narrated Abu Huraira(r.a): The Prophet said:"... whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (Sahih Al-Bukhari). Ramadhan Mubarak !!!

Red Velvet Cake :)

My initial intention was to bake for our anniversary but due to some circumstances and hectic schedule, i can only produced it today. It wasn't that late right? Still this can be a dish for our Ramadhan eve today :).

I baked 2 layers of love shape red velvet cake.Layered the first cake with cream cheese, and put another one on top. Continue layering the complete cake and garnish with sweet strawberry on top .. Drooling !!!!!

Graduation !!!

My weekend was a blast..having great moment with the people you love is an energy booster...went to KL for my sister's graduation day..The event tooks 2 days ;one in cheras n the main event was in Bangi..UKM to be exact...


It was tiring but indeed fulfilling...It's not easy to gather as one whole family..I must say i'm kinda person who attached to the family very closely..They are everything to me :)..
