Steamed Seabass (Siakap) Recipe

Steamed Seabass (Siakap) Recipe
1 piece of Seabass, skin on
Fresh Ginger and Garlic cut into strips
Half green Onion cut dioganally
Chopped Fresh cilantro/coriander leaves
Pinch of White Pepper/Cayenn pepper
Lemon cut into half (to get the juice)
Red Chilli-finely cut
Fresh tomatoe and cilantro for serving
Salt
1 tbs of fish sauce



Preheat the oven to 200ÂșC


Lay the sea bass on top of the foil, sprinkle over the salt, cayenn pepper/ white pepper, then

sprinkle slices of onions, fresh ginger, garlic, red chillies,and fine cut coriander.

Later squeeze the lemon juice and put a dash of fish sauce for the flavour

Cover the dish tightly with tinfoil and put it in the preheated oven for around 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and sprinkle over the coriander leaves

Divide between your plates with a wedge of lime.

Nah..ready to be served with plain basmathi rice :)
